It's pretty darn awesome as photographers when you get a chance to combine work and play! This was one of those opportunities... Please say hello to Ben, Kellie and their delightful daughter Stella. They're the kind of friends that come around once, maybe twice in a lifetime if you're very lucky. Why? Because they're one of those warm, loving, awesome at life families you only ever see in the movies... except they're REAL! Better yet, these guys are a massive part of our lives, something we're truly grateful for! We hope you enjoy these portraits we took one lazy afternoon around Brisbane.      

It's such a pleasure to introduce you to this sweet family, the Kilmisters!

Mum Leonie loves to shop and go out with her girlfriends to all the new restaurants! Dad Paul leads his family on travel adventures, and is just the slightest bit geeky (like us!!!) Hugh is addicted to his iphone (also like us) and is a computer game wiz. The coolest twins we've met yet are Felicity and Bronte and although look very similar, they love to be different too, and they've never given up hope that one day, just one day Dad might buy them a horse. (hint hint Paul!). But most importantly, they all love each other. Aren't they awesome??? Thank you so much for letting us hang out with you guys for one sunny afternoon!

When Tracy and Damien asked us to take some snaps of their gorgeous little family of three we were so excited! Not only are they photo-bugs too, but they're all so darn pretty! Their adorable little girl Zoelei is so sweet! We fell in love with her smile and how she waved and said hello to everyone she met along the way - so cute! We had a ball with these guys - they were an absolute breeze to shoot and not only that,  we found long grass in the middle of the city!!! YAY!!! Thanks guys, we loved spending every minute with you!

 We love how Tracy was totally cool with her hubby wanting to jumping off the 'veranda' of this cool abandonded work-site we found. Kid's don't try this at home!  

An outing with le magnifique Melissa and her gorgeous daughter Ruby was the perfect way to spend a lazy summer afternoon! Mel and Rubes braved the windy conditions and still managed to look super cute all while having a rollicking good time. We were slightly distracted by G+T's as we giggled the afternoon away and searched for red things to catch Ruby's eye (ironically her favourite colour). Mel's red-hot-mama toenails did the trick! The gals had their moxie goin' on and even managed to get their feet wet (not to mention Melissa's dress) for some off camera flash action. Mel rocked the shot and channelled Botticelli's Angel looking every bit the gorgeous mum and stunning person she is!
