It's pretty darn awesome as photographers when you get a chance to combine work and play! This was one of those opportunities... Please say hello to Ben, Kellie and their delightful daughter Stella. They're the kind of friends that come around once, maybe twice in a lifetime if you're very lucky. Why? Because they're one of those warm, loving, awesome at life families you only ever see in the movies... except they're REAL! Better yet, these guys are a massive part of our lives, something we're truly grateful for! We hope you enjoy these portraits we took one lazy afternoon around Brisbane.

Mum Leonie loves to shop and go out with her girlfriends to all the new restaurants! Dad Paul leads his family on travel adventures, and is just the slightest bit geeky (like us!!!) Hugh is addicted to his iphone (also like us) and is a computer game wiz. The coolest twins we've met yet are Felicity and Bronte and although look very similar, they love to be different too, and they've never given up hope that one day, just one day Dad might buy them a horse. (hint hint Paul!). But most importantly, they all love each other. Aren't they awesome??? Thank you so much for letting us hang out with you guys for one sunny afternoon!

When Tracy and Damien asked us to take some snaps of their gorgeous little family of three we were so excited! Not only are they photo-bugs too, but they're all so darn pretty! Their adorable little girl Zoelei is so sweet! We fell in love with her smile and how she waved and said hello to everyone she met along the way - so cute! We had a ball with these guys - they were an absolute breeze to shoot and not only that,  we found long grass in the middle of the city!!! YAY!!! Thanks guys, we loved spending every minute with you!

 We love how Tracy was totally cool with her hubby wanting to jumping off the 'veranda' of this cool abandonded work-site we found. Kid's don't try this at home!  

We recently flew down to Melbourne and rendezvoused with this fantastic four at the Melbourne Museum. We had all the ingredients needed for a fresh batch of awesome sauce - Perfect weather, four gorgeous girls and a location with more bells and whistles than an Iphone.  We want to say thanks to Caroline and the girls, we had an amazing afternoon

An outing with le magnifique Melissa and her gorgeous daughter Ruby was the perfect way to spend a lazy summer afternoon! Mel and Rubes braved the windy conditions and still managed to look super cute all while having a rollicking good time. We were slightly distracted by G+T's as we giggled the afternoon away and searched for red things to catch Ruby's eye (ironically her favourite colour). Mel's red-hot-mama toenails did the trick! The gals had their moxie goin' on and even managed to get their feet wet (not to mention Melissa's dress) for some off camera flash action. Mel rocked the shot and channelled Botticelli's Angel looking every bit the gorgeous mum and stunning person she is! And we just HAD to include this one of Ruby's hilarious stink-face. "I will stink-face you with my AWESOME stink-face!!!" LOVE IT!!!

Hello you ridiculously good looking Melbournites.........Are you ready to give us your Blue Steel?!  We're coming to Melbourne and we have 3 days with your names on them!

This means you'll need to take some time out from your days of wining, dining, drinking coffee in hidden alleyways and looking ridiculously chic! You can however, have photos taken while you wine, dine, drink coffee in hidden alleyways and look ridiculously chic (actually...we'd prefer it if you just keep doing what you do best)!

Seth + Tenielle

 Our dear friends Sam & Crystal have been baking their bun for the last 8 and a half months, and as they're only a few weeks off meeting their first little peanut we decided it was a good time to book in for a session.  Unbeknownst to us, as a treat they had cooked up the most amazing lunch of fresh seafood and good ol American favourites (for Seth), Yipppeeeeeee!!!!!!!   After stuffing ourselves we started shooting and decided we had to add their Beagle puppy 'Badger' to the mix, which consisted of us making monkey noises and banging leftover coke cans around the street to get his attention.  At the end of an awesome day we had to finish with a refreshing pint and a bowl of chips overlooking the bay, pure bliss!  Can't wait to meet peanut, so watch this space as we'll introduce the little one in a few weeks and counting.  To see their Too Cool for Skool slideshow, click here!

Our shoot started at the break of dawn with us racing against the sun. We rattled around Bris Vegas in the back alleyways of the valley and New Farm, stumbling upon some very cool graffiti. It didn't take long for Ethan and Kaity to loosen up and before you could say......Snuffleupagus..... they busted out their best moves and took us to Planet Funk. Ethan and Kaity definitely brought the goods on the day and as for the photos.....we'll let them speak for themselves.... What's that Mr. Photo?
